THE SHOMI METHOD®
is a practice of body–centered self–inquiry based in the following premises:

Our body always knows what we feel, what we need, and what is true. It instinctively knows essential truths the mind can’t figure out on its own. And it communicates these truths to us directly, through our feelings. When we’re not in touch with our body our mind misunderstands, misinterprets, makes up stories and acquires false beliefs. Until we find out who we really are, we identify with a false self. Until we access the truths our body knows, we tend to believe whatever our mind thinks. Until we wake up, our mind is a servant to conditioned programs that bind us in unhealthy or destructive patterns of thinking and behavior. Until we wake up, most of our thinking is part of the problem. By listening to our body we gain awareness and access essential truths that allow us to take appropriate action and make healthy changes. This is how we integrate the various aspects of our "self" and become a unified body/mind/spirit. This is how we wake up, and stay awake. This is how we discover who we really are.

The SHOMI Method® knows the mind is here to serve our body so we can follow our spirit. It knows that a system reorganizes itself to the highest available truth. It helps us discover our highest available truth so we can begin to heal, grow, wake up, and master the art of staying awake. The SHOMI Method® invites us to explore our life through a practice of inquiry that deepens self–discovery and provides undeniable evidence of a spiritual power operating in our life. Through this practice we rediscover self–love, self-respect, inner peace, a sense of curiosity and wonder, and an ability to love and have compassion for others. We translate our feelings into knowledge, action and wisdom that change our life. And we create a life that supports our authentic self and fulfills our purpose for being here.
